  • KAREN WALKER

    New Zealand-born fashion designer Karen Walker’s creations feature regularly in New York Fashion Week. The label is best known for collections that are original, unpretentious and always optimistic.

    In addition to women’s wear, there is also Karen Walker Jewellery, Karen Walker Eyewear, Karen Walker Homeware, Karen Walker Paints, a diffusion line called “Hi There from Karen Walker” and a series of collaborations including “Beau Coops” for Karen Walker footwear and children’s wear with UNIQLO.

    Karen Walker products are available in over 30 countries and 200 cities worldwide. Her collections can be found in specialty shops, department stores and leading online boutiques. There are also five Karen Walker flagship stores in New Zealand.

  • THE MALAGHAN INSTITUTE

    The Malaghan Institute is New Zealand’s leading independent medical research institute focused on finding progressive treatments for diseases including cancer, asthma and allergies.

  • GREG TURNER

    After spending 18 years competing on the world’s golf stage, Greg Turner has set up Turner Macpherson Golf Design. The company is currently designing courses in New Zealand and abroad.

    Domestically, these projects include soon to be completed designs at Millbrook West and Oreti Sands along with developing projects in the Gibbston Valley, Waipara and McArthur Ridge (near Alexandra). Overseas projects include a new 18-hole course at Close House near Newcastle (UK) and concept works in France, Italy and China.

  • MURRAY THOM

    Despite leaving school at 15 with no qualifications, Murray Thom became Managing Director of CBS Records New Zealand at 23, the youngest Managing Director of that group in the world.

    With a strong desire to be self-employed he left the corporate life 23 years ago to “have a go” on his own. Murray’s boutique music company, Thom Music, has also enjoyed great success including the “Great NZ Songbook”.

    Regarded as one of New Zealand’s top entrepreneurs, he also established personalized plates in New Zealand. Murray has been an ambassador for Lexus New Zealand since 2005.
