The LX570 features a remarkable 5.7 litre V8 petrol engine, empowering you with 270 kilowatts. Built around an aluminium block this engine features 32 valves and chain-driven Double Overhead Camshafts (DOHC) leading to long-term durability and efficiency. The engine produces 530Nm of torque at 3,200rpm thanks in part to dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (dual VVT-iE) which monitors the engine’s speed and load, increasing torque at lower speeds for improved towing power and boosting performance at higher speeds by adjusting the intake and exhaust valve timing.

6-speed automatic transmission

Working seamlessly with the engine is a 6-speed automatic transmission that sets new standards for smooth driving whether in high or low range modes. For a more dynamic drive the transmission can be shifted in sequential manual mode.

reduced fuel consumption

Despite LX570’s impressive power, fuel consumption has been reduced to 14.8 litres per 100 kilometres. What’s more, the LX570 makes such efficient use of fuel it meets the Euro4 emission standards.

In the development of the LX570, priority was focussed on off-road performance. Engineers pursued unyielding strength and rigidity for peace of mind through the toughest terrain that would typically defeat monocoque bodied vehicles.

hill-start assist control

When stopped on an incline, Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) helps manage vehicle roll-back when you step off the brake before accelerating.

adjustable height control suspension

The LX570 rises above other 4WD's with a selection of three suspension height adjustments. The 'High' setting gives you maximum ground clearance for off road adventures, 'Normal' is for everyday motoring and 'Low' for easy entry and exit. There’s also an easy access mode to make LX570 even more accessible.

Precision Steering

Power assisted, variable gear ratio rack and pinion steering gives you the benefit of not only maximum assistance when parking. It also offers precise steering with excellent response and road feel at higher speeds when driving around twisty roads.
