Pre-Crash System

A Pre-Crash System (PCS) incorporating a radar sensor can help reduce collision injury and damage is an option for both IS250 models. If the system detects an object ahead and perceives that a crash is unavoidable, it retracts the seatbelts and Brake Assist increases your braking force to help reduce collision speed.

Active Cruise Control

Active Cruise Control is part of the optional Advanced Safety Package which not only maintains precise control of your chosen speed. A radar sensor constantly monitors the road ahead. If it detects another vehicle in your path, your speed is reduced accordingly. Once the other vehicle moves a safe distance away, your preselected speed is then resumed.

Knee Airbags

A class-leading SRS airbag package includes dual front airbags, front side airbags and side curtain shield airbags as standard. In addition, all models come with front knee airbags, to help reduce the chance of lower limb damage in a collision for front seat occupants.

Twin Chamber SRS Airbag

On the passenger's side, a world-first Twin Chamber airbag has been installed to lessen the impact of airbag deployment to the front seat passenger. This advanced design has a V-shape distributing the physical impact to the shoulders and upper torso.

ABS With Brake Assist

The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) utilises a sophisticated modulation pattern to dramatically reduce stopping distances, regardless of conditions. Brake Assist (BA) helps supplement your braking effort during emergency stops.

Traction Control

Your connection with the road is enhanced during acceleration, with the help of Traction Control (TRC) which minimises wheelspin.

Vehicle Stability Control

To help maintain your chosen line around tight, slippery bends, Vehicle Stability Control is fitted as standard.

Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management

IS250 is equipped with Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) which helps you maintain control in less than ideal conditions. VDIM ingrates the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electric Power Steering, electronic throttle, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRC) systems to allow you greater levels of control than ever before.
